Bandai The Dark Knight SIC Batpod & Batman Figure Set

From Bandai comes this bat-tastic "movie realization" of Batman and the Bat-Pod from "The Dark Knight!" No scale is given, but Batman stands about 20cm tall, putting him at roughly 1/9 scale. A collaboration by Masakazu Katsura and Takayuki Takeya, the set includes the fully articulated and exquisitely detailed Batman with weapons and three sets of hands, and the magnificently detailed Bat-Pod with clear stand (won't stay upright without the stand!). Very cool

RX-0 UNICORN GUNDAM MG Model Kit Version Ka 1/100 Scale

Veteran mecha designer Hajime Katoki again brings his style to Bandai's popular Master Grade (MG) series, this time with his design of Unicorn Gundam! The titular mecha from the "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn" serial novel comes sharply molded on colored runners and is capable of being switched between Unicorn Mode and Destroy (NT-D) Mode. In Unicorn Mode, the all-white Mobile Suit has a horn projecting from its forehead that resembles that of the mythical creature for which it was named. When switching to NT-D Mode, its armor slides open to reveal its psychoframe, the four blades on the shield expand outwards, its unicorn horn opens, and a different face is revealed. Its armaments include four beam sabers, a beam magnum, hyper bazooka, and shield. Sheets of foil stickers, Gundam decals, and marking stickers are included. Build two kits and display them side by side, one in each mode--both designs look too cool to display only one at a time!

Bandai Soul of Chogokin Die-Cast Action Figure GX-13 Dancouga

The intricately-detailed plastic/die cast Dancouga super-robot towers godlike above most of his esteemed Soul of Chogokin peers. The four variously-sized pilot-guided robot components of which the massive Dancouga is comprised---Land Cougar, Eagle Fighter, Land Liger and Big Moth---are respectively skewed to their own highly-articulated robot/beast/vehicle transformation specifications. Dancouga has an overall hybrid look with sharp planes and angles mingling with the more animalistic components such as the white mammoth breastplate. Dancouga comes equipped with a full arsenal including the likes of the Daigun Laser Rifle, the Dankuken Sword and the Wing Booster. Dancouga was generated to quash the invasion staged by a moderately hostile alien empire. The four human pilots relative to the defense effort distinguished themselves on the merits of their individual components, the latter of which were drawn into various campaigns and intrigues prior to the culmination of Dancouga. Once combined, Eagle Fighter formed Dancougaâ?TMs head, Land Cougar the left foot and Land Liger the right, and Big Moth formed the core of the super-robot.
